Thursday Feb 23rd saw the first ever Music and Sound Awards kick
off at Koko in Camden and Peer Music was there as an offcial
sponsor of the event as well as a nominee.
Radio presenter, writer and actor Adam Buxton presented the
event which gave out awards across film, TV, advertising and
Computer game principles.
Peer music, nominated for 'Best use of Existing Music in a
Trailer or film' for the inclusion of Buddy Holly's 'Everyday' in
the Trailer for the Dark adeptation of 'We need to talk about
Kevin' was a worthy runner up to he eventual winner Warner Chappell
for the use of a haunting re-record of Radioheads 'Creep' in the
Trailer for 'The Social Network'.
Peer Favorite 'Newton Faulker' Perfromed to the crow between the
two halves of the ceremony and dubuted a brand new track that will
feature on his forthcoming third album.
All in all the night was a total success and im sure everyone
involved is looking forward to next years already.
