Songwriting Camp

Friday, October 12, 2012

More than 30 artists and songwriters from Peermusic and Bucks Music collaborated last week for intensive writing sessions at Metropolis' world class recording facilities in London.

Writers such as Rob Davis (Kylie Minogue), Luke Juby (Emeli Sande), Mikill Pane (Ed Sheeran), Nina Woodford (James Morrison) and Dele Ladimeji (Jay Sean) among others, worked together on recording briefs set by visiting record label creative personnel and managers.

Shereen Shabana (Professor Green) recorded at the camp all week: "Song camps are such a great way of getting to meet people who also write. You move out of your comfort zone when you write with others, it's a real eye opener."

We look forward to reporting the progress of their work from the Songcamp to the official charts.
