Wednesday, May 15, 2013

Congratulations to PRS for Music Foundation whose New Music 20x12 project won the Concert Series and Festivals Royal Philharmonic Society Music Award last night (14th May 2013).

New Music 20x12 put original music centre stage of the Cultural Olympiad last year, combining 20 of the UK's imaginative arts organisations with some of our most exciting composers to create world-class pieces across a range of styles.

Our UK and European President Nigel Elderton is a Founding Trustee of The Performing Right Society (PRS) Foundation, the UK's leading funder of new music across all genres.

Read the PRS for Music's online magazine article for more information on the award and the New Music 20x12 programme.
