The Lau & Scene - Edison Award winners

Thé Lau & The Scene were surprised with an Edison for their complete works. In the category ‘Pop’, the Edison went to The Common Linnets and ‘Rock’ was awarded to Kensington. Dotan’s Home was awarded Best ‘Song’ and the record Lobi Da Basi from Typhoon won best ‘Album’ and ‘Hip Hop’.

The jury praised the works from Thé Lau, both solo and with The Scene,  he was described as one of the most striking characters in the Dutch pop music. His works characterises itself through melody and poetical lyrics.
