Gary Benson

Ivor Novello Award-nominee Gary Benson is renowned for his work with reggae recording artist Maxi Priest.

The trans-Atlantic chart-topper, Close To You taken from Priest's multi-million selling album, Bonafide placed Benson at the forefront of British songwriting.

He would go on to write John Travolta's Top 5 American hit, Let Her In as well as Can't Let You Go, taken from the certified Gold album, Sandy. Other credits include: Barrington levy, Shaggy, Sly and Robbie, Linda Eder and Beverley Brown.

Benson's songs have also featured in major motion pictures, such as Sleeping with the Enemy and Speed II, along with TV shows Baywatch and Oprah Winfrey.
