Wally Badarou

French composer and musician Wally Badarou is best known for co-writing, producing and performing synth with British band, Level 42.

Also a member of the Compass Point All Stars, the in-house recording team working with the likes of Grace Jones, Joe Cocker and Mick Jagger, he has recorded with Robert Palmer, Marianne Faithfull, Talking Heads, Manu Dibango and Miriam Makeba, among many others.

Wally has produced albums for African stars like Salif Keita, Wasis Diop, Youssou N'Dour and Papa Wemba as well as writing for film, such as the Oscar-nominated Kiss of a Spider Woman. His solo instrumental work includes 1985's Echoes.

Wally currently sits on the board of directors for the French collecting society, SACEM.
